Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Clinical Makeup Assistant with a keen eye for detail and a specialization in bridal and media makeup artistry. This full-time role requires weekend flexibility to support our busy schedule of client appointments, photoshoots, and special events. As part of our dynamic team in Saskatoon, you will work alongside lead artists and aestheticians, providing exceptional makeup services, assisting with client consultations, and ensuring a seamless experience for every individual. Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional makeup applications for bridal parties, media projects, and special events, adhering to client briefs and artistic direction.
- Assist lead makeup artists and aestheticians during consultations and treatments, ensuring smooth operations.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness for all makeup tools, brushes, and workstations.
- Manage and organize makeup inventory, ensuring adequate stock of products and supplies.
- Provide expert advice to clients on makeup products, application techniques, and post-care.
- Contribute to content creation for social media and marketing materials, showcasing makeup artistry.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay updated with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Certified Makeup Artist diploma or equivalent professional training.
- Proven experience in makeup artistry, with a strong portfolio showcasing bridal and/or media work.
- Excellent understanding of different skin types, tones, and makeup products.
- Exceptional client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as required.
- Proficiency in maintaining sterile and hygienic work environments.
