Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shopify Specialist to join our dynamic e-commerce team with a specific focus on our Home & Garden category. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our Shopify-powered online store, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for product listing, content updates, store performance monitoring, and implementing strategies to drive sales and enhance user experience within the home and garden segments. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize product listings for the Home & Garden category, including descriptions, imagery, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Implement and maintain Shopify themes, apps, and integrations to enhance store functionality and aesthetics.
- Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve technical issues, broken links, and other errors affecting user experience.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to launch promotional campaigns, sales events, and new product introductions on the Shopify platform.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools, identifying trends and recommending improvements for conversion rates and customer engagement.
- Ensure SEO best practices are applied to product pages and content to improve organic search visibility.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve our online store.
- Provide technical support for the Shopify platform and associated tools to internal teams.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Shopify Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of the Shopify platform (min. 3 years).
- Proficiency in managing product catalogs, collections, and inventory within Shopify.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce best practices, user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic Liquid templating for minor theme customizations.
- Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with Shopify Plus or large-scale Shopify implementations.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) for basic image editing.
- Previous experience in the home improvement, gardening, or retail industry.
