Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally professional and dedicated Terminal Liaison Chauffeur to join our elite guest services team. In this pivotal role, you will be the face of Mears Transportation, providing seamless, high-end ground transportation and concierge-level guest services to our esteemed clients. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, impeccable driving skills, a proactive approach to guest needs, and a deep commitment to punctuality and discretion. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition for guests between terminals, vehicles, and destinations, representing our brand with the utmost professionalism and courtesy.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate luxury vehicles for client transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional 'meet and greet' services at various terminals (e.g., airports, cruise ports), assisting guests with luggage and special requests.
- Act as a primary point of contact for guests, anticipating needs and ensuring a comfortable and stress-free experience from start to finish.
- Maintain immaculate vehicle presentation, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and ensuring cleanliness.
- Manage and adhere to a strict schedule, demonstrating punctuality and flexibility to accommodate changes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and internal teams, providing timely updates and resolving any issues professionally.
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and significant landmarks to optimize travel times.
- Handle confidential client information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with an impeccable driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of professional chauffeuring or high-end guest services experience
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong geographical knowledge of the greater Tampa Bay area and Florida
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Punctuality, reliability, and strong organizational skills
- Discreet and professional demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with luxury vehicle operations and maintenance
- Certification in defensive driving or advanced chauffeur training
- Multilingual abilities
- Prior experience as a terminal liaison or airport ground support
