Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Product Manager to join our innovative AI/SaaS product team in Oakland. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the ideation, research, and definition of new product features and enhancements for our AI/SaaS platform.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
- Support the creation of product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming sessions.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to iterate on product improvements.
- Help monitor product performance post-launch and identify areas for optimization.
- Communicate product updates and progress to internal stakeholders.
- Learn and apply best practices in Agile product management and AI/SaaS development.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Foundational understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software as a Service (SaaS) technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Prior internship or project experience in product management, business analysis, or software development.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis tools or basic SQL.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles.
