Job Description

In this role, you will support senior researchers by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights into consumer viewing habits, preferences, and emerging trends within the Netflix ecosystem. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative market research studies focused on Netflix audience behavior.
- Collect and process data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct initial analysis of research data using statistical software and Excel.
- Prepare preliminary reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing key findings and trends.
- Monitor industry news and competitive landscape related to streaming services and audience engagement.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and cross-functional teams to refine research objectives and deliverables.
- Contribute to the development of innovative research methodologies and data visualization techniques.
- Support the team in presenting findings to internal stakeholders and, occasionally, to clients.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for data interpretation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, formulas).
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts and research methodologies.
- Demonstrated interest in media, entertainment, and streaming platforms (especially Netflix).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sociology, Data Science, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous internship or project experience in market research, data analysis, or media analytics.
- Familiarity with survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Basic knowledge of statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS) is a plus.
