Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Game Programmer to join our innovative development team in Southport. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to contribute to the creation of groundbreaking games. You will work closely with experienced programmers, designers, and artists to implement game features, fix bugs, and optimize performance across various aspects of game development. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, debug, and optimize game features under guidance from senior programmers.
  • Collaborate with design and art teams to bring game concepts to life.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C++ code.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving bugs and technical issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in C++ programming.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid mathematical skills relevant to game development (linear algebra, trigonometry).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
