Job Description

No previous experience is required as we offer fully paid, comprehensive training and certification to ensure you become a qualified Smart Meter Installer. Key Responsibilities
- Undergo and successfully complete all required training and certification for smart meter installation.
- Install and exchange gas and electricity smart meters in domestic properties.
- Ensure all installations comply with health, safety, and industry regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining the benefits and operation of smart meters clearly to customers.
- Conduct pre-installation checks and post-installation tests diligently.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed and manage vehicle stock and equipment effectively.
Required Skills
- Full UK Driving License (essential)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Commitment to health and safety standards
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Basic understanding of electrical or gas systems (not essential, but a plus)
- NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering (Gas and Electric) – to be obtained through training
