Job Description
Join the UPS team as a Warehouse Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We are looking for dedicated individuals to manage the efficient flow of goods through our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. This role involves a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices and manifests.
- Accurately sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders for outbound shipping, ensuring product integrity and order accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (with proper certification/training).
- Prepare packages for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and loading onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 70 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
