Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and detail-oriented student with a passion for research? Chegg is seeking Online Student Researchers to contribute to our mission on a flexible, per-project basis. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to apply your academic skills in a practical setting, conducting in-depth online research on a variety of educational topics, market trends, and student needs. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and accurate online research using a diverse range of credible sources, including academic databases, industry reports, and educational publications.
- Analyze complex information and synthesize findings into clear, concise, and well-structured reports or presentations.
- Verify data accuracy and ensure the reliability and relevance of all collected information.
- Adhere strictly to project guidelines, deadlines, and quality standards established by project managers.
- Communicate effectively and asynchronously with project leads to clarify objectives and present findings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary information and research data.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
- Demonstrated ability to perform effective and independent online research.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (US).
- Strong analytical thinking, critical evaluation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in utilizing various search engines, online libraries, and research tools.
- Highly organized, self-disciplined, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work autonomously and consistently meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in academic research, market research, or data compilation.
- Familiarity with quantitative or qualitative research methodologies.
- Experience with academic citation styles (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago).
- Majoring in fields such as Education, Social Sciences, Business, Library Science, or related disciplines.
