Job Description

Scotiabank is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Receptionist / Front Desk professional to join our team in Corner Brook. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity perfect for individuals with no prior experience who are eager to start their career in a dynamic financial services environment. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls efficiently and courteously.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing meeting room bookings.
  • Provide basic information to clients and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
  • Support other team members with ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data protection.
