Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to start a career in logistics? DHL Supply Chain is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Forklift Drivers. No previous experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training and support to help you achieve your Forklift Operator certification. This is an entry-level position perfect for those eager to learn new skills and contribute to a dynamic warehouse environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning safe and efficient material handling practices, inventory management, and operational procedures that keep our global supply chain moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs to obtain Forklift Operator certification.
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach) safely and efficiently once certified, under supervision.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse according to established procedures.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Support inventory management through accurate counting and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
