Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all provided forklift training sessions to obtain and maintain relevant licences.
  • Learn to safely operate forklift trucks (e.g., Counterbalance, Reach) under supervision.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse using manual methods or pallet trucks as directed.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations diligently.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift checks on equipment and report any faults or issues immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Support the warehouse team with general duties as required.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding product handling and storage.

  • Willingness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good physical stamina, capable of performing manual handling tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or factory environment (non-forklift related).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to personal transport (due to location and shift patterns).
