Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Solicitor to join our dynamic team in Swansea. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented legal professional to manage a diverse caseload, provide expert advice to clients, and contribute to the continued success of our firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality legal services and maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload from inception to completion, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
- Provide clear, concise, and commercially sound legal advice to clients.
- Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and potentially court proceedings (depending on specialism).
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Contribute to business development activities and marketing initiatives.
- Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards of the legal profession.
Required Skills
- Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate in England and Wales.
- Minimum of 3 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in a relevant practice area.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a specific practice area relevant to our firm's needs (e.g., Commercial Property, Corporate, Litigation, Family Law).
