Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote E-commerce Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role will primarily focus on the accurate and efficient processing of online orders for our skincare product category. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous order management, coordination with logistics, and timely resolution of order-related inquiries, all within a 100% remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and verify online skincare product orders daily, ensuring accuracy in product, quantity, and customer details.
  • Monitor order fulfillment progress from placement to delivery, proactively addressing any potential delays or issues.
  • Coordinate with shipping partners and internal logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and tracking updates.
  • Manage inventory levels of skincare products within the e-commerce system, flagging low stock or discrepancies.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to order status, shipping, and returns via email or internal communication tools.
  • Process returns, exchanges, and cancellations for skincare items according to company policy.
  • Maintain organized digital records of all order processing activities and communications.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of order fulfillment processes and customer service protocols.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the e-commerce operations team.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and verification.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and order management systems (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including G Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (at least 6 months) in an e-commerce, administrative, or customer service role.
  • A genuine interest in skincare products and familiarity with current beauty industry trends.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
