Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing excellent service with a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure product freshness and proper rotation.
  • Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including aisles, checkout areas, and backstock rooms.
  • Process incoming shipments, verify orders, and assist with inventory management.
  • Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Required Skills

  • Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) regularly.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role (though not required, it's a plus).
  • Familiarity with grocery or retail operations.
