Job Description
Are you passionate about mobile apps and have a keen eye for detail? Do you enjoy finding flaws and improving user experience? We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our remote QA team as an App QA Tester. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the quality of our globally beloved mobile applications, all from the convenience of your own smartphone. You’ll play a crucial role in identifying bugs, ensuring smooth functionality, and providing valuable feedback to our development teams, helping us deliver flawless gaming experiences to our players. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to work with a world-class team from anywhere within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases on various mobile applications across different smartphone devices and operating systems.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and glitches with clear, concise descriptions and reproducible steps.
- Provide constructive feedback on usability, functionality, and overall user experience.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technology trends and testing methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in using a smartphone for various applications and tasks.
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to clearly describe bugs and steps to reproduce them.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Basic understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in mobile app testing or quality assurance (even personal projects).
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Passion for mobile games and a good understanding of gaming mechanics.
