Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
- Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, vital sign monitoring, and personal care assistance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and revise patient care strategies.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate, appropriate nursing interventions.
- Advocate for patients' rights and ensure their dignity and comfort are maintained.
- Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students as required.
Required Skills
- Current registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in your country of origin.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written communication).
- Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- Experience in specialized areas such as ICU, ER, OR, or Medical-Surgical units.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Prior experience working in a diverse cultural environment.
