Job Description
Join Titan Fencing as a Fencing Installer Laborer, where you’ll be an essential part of our team bringing robust and beautiful fences to life across Regina and surrounding rural areas. This is a hands-on role perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to learn and grow within the construction industry. You will assist our skilled installers with all aspects of fence construction, from site preparation to final installation, working on a variety of fence types including wood, chain-link, and agricultural fencing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including clearing debris, digging post holes, and trenching.
- Help set fence posts using hand tools and power equipment, ensuring proper alignment and depth.
- Mix and pour concrete for fence post foundations.
- Install various types of fencing materials such as wood panels, chain-link fabric, and wire.
- Cut and measure materials accurately according to project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop/job sites.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or a related field.
- Experience operating power tools such as post-hole diggers, drills, and saws.
- Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of different fencing types and installation techniques.
