Job Description

Join BrightView Landscapes as a Garden Maintenance Offsider and become an integral part of our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama. This outdoor, full-time role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to contribute to the beautification of our clients’ properties. You will assist our skilled maintenance crews with a variety of landscaping tasks, primarily focusing on mowing, edging, and general garden upkeep. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for motivated candidates ready to learn and grow with us. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate basic landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and edgers safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in routine garden maintenance tasks including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and edging garden beds.
  • Perform general cleanup duties, including leaf blowing, debris removal, and waste disposal.
  • Support lead landscapers and crew members in all aspects of property maintenance.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Assist with planting, weeding, mulching, and irrigation system adjustments as needed.
  • Provide excellent service to ensure client satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in landscaping or general outdoor labor.

  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
