Job Description
Join Lime as a Mobile Scooter Groomer in the vibrant Mission District of San Francisco! In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of our electric scooters directly on location throughout the city. You’ll ensure our fleet is always in top-notch condition, reflecting Lime’s commitment to quality and user experience. This hands-on position involves traveling to various scooter locations, performing cleaning, polishing, and minor cosmetic touch-ups. If you’re detail-oriented, enjoy working outdoors, and are passionate about sustainable urban mobility, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various designated scooter locations across the Mission District and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough cleaning and polishing of electric scooters, removing dirt, grime, and minor scuffs.
- Inspect scooters for cosmetic damage and report major issues to the maintenance team.
- Replenish hand sanitizer or wipes on scooters as needed.
- Ensure all Lime branding and stickers are clean and intact.
- Manage and organize cleaning supplies efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with the public.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and maneuver scooters up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in detailing, cleaning, or a similar hands-on role.
- Familiarity with the San Francisco area, particularly the Mission District.
- Passion for sustainable transportation and micromobility.
- Basic knowledge of scooter components.
