Job Description
As a Limo Associate on our Afternoon & Evening Roster, you will be an essential part of Mears Transportation Group, providing premium ground transportation services to our discerning clients throughout the Pasco County and wider Tampa Bay area. This role demands a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for safely and comfortably transporting clients in luxury vehicles, ensuring a pristine vehicle condition, and upholding Mears’ reputation for excellence. The afternoon and evening shifts require flexibility and a service-oriented mindset, often involving airport transfers, corporate events, and special occasion transportation. This position is On-site, requiring your presence at our Wesley Chapel facility and throughout your service area.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate luxury vehicles, including sedans and SUVs, for client transportation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide impeccable customer service, assisting clients with luggage and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant journey.
- Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of assigned vehicles before, during, and after each shift.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and safety.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including trip logs and expense reports.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and local knowledge, adapting to traffic conditions as needed.
- Represent Mears Transportation Group with the highest level of professionalism and decorum at all times.
- Be available for shifts primarily during afternoon and evening hours, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Required Skills
- Valid Florida Class E driver's license with a clean driving record (no major infractions).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, rideshare, delivery, chauffeur).
- Excellent knowledge of Pasco County and the greater Tampa Bay area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and a polite, professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Proven punctuality and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a limousine driver or executive chauffeur.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle operation and basic maintenance checks.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
