Job Description
Join our team as a Content Reviewer specializing in Internet Safety & Compliance. In this critical role, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content across various platforms to ensure adherence to platform guidelines, community standards, and legal regulations. Your work will directly contribute to fostering a safer online environment and protecting users from harmful or inappropriate content. This position requires strong critical thinking, excellent judgment, and a commitment to upholding internet safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate a high volume of user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
- Identify and escalate content that violates policies, demonstrates safety concerns, or requires further investigation.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in content review processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of content moderation guidelines and tools by providing feedback to team leads.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to address complex content issues.
- Stay informed about current internet safety trends, platform policy updates, and relevant legal regulations.
- Handle sensitive and graphic content with resilience and adherence to self-care practices.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify nuances in content.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in using web-based tools and applications.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Communications, Sociology, Criminology).
- Previous experience in content moderation, trust and safety, or a related field.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and online communities.
- Experience working with diverse global teams.
