Job Description
Are you a highly skilled and empathetic coach passionate about helping individuals achieve their absolute best? BetterUp is seeking a dedicated Virtual Zone Coach specializing in guiding clients to ‘Get into Peak States’. In this pivotal role, you will leverage evidence-based methodologies and advanced coaching techniques to empower our members to unlock their full potential, enhance mental clarity, boost physical vitality, and sustain high-performance states. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized one-on-one virtual coaching sessions focused on achieving and maintaining peak states.
- Develop and implement customized coaching plans tailored to individual client needs and goals, encompassing mental resilience, focus, energy management, and stress reduction.
- Utilize advanced coaching techniques and psychological principles to guide clients through challenges and breakthroughs.
- Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and data analysis, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Facilitate group workshops or webinars on peak performance strategies and mindfulness.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records within our proprietary platform.
- Collaborate with BetterUp's expert community to share best practices and contribute to coaching excellence.
- Continuously engage in professional development to stay abreast of the latest research in neuroscience, psychology, and human performance.
Required Skills
- Certified Professional Coach (e.g., ICF PCC or MCC, or equivalent recognized certification).
- Demonstrable expertise in peak performance methodologies, flow states, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral techniques.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct coaching experience with a proven track record of client success in performance enhancement.
- Exceptional active listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with virtual communication tools and online coaching platforms.
- Strong ability to build rapport, inspire trust, and motivate clients remotely.
- High level of empathy, discretion, and ethical practice.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing a diverse caseload independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Neuroscience, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Experience with biofeedback, neurofeedback, or other physiological self-regulation techniques.
- Familiarity with various assessment tools for performance and well-being.
- Experience in corporate coaching or working with high-achieving professionals.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
