Job Description
Join UPS as a Weekly Pay Picker and become an essential part of our dynamic logistics team in Denver, CO. This entry-level position offers immediate start and the opportunity to earn weekly pay, ensuring you get your check every Friday. As a Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, contributing to the efficient flow of goods within our distribution center. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from warehouse shelves and storage areas according to order specifications.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and other identifying information to ensure correct items are selected.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if necessary).
- Prepare items for shipment, including sorting, labeling, and packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand English instructions and safety manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying items.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Commitment to working in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or handheld scanners.
