Job Description
Join Moy Park as a Remote Farm Hand, a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about agriculture. While the position is managed and coordinated remotely by our central operations team, your essential farm work will be carried out directly on our partner farms. This role offers the flexibility of remote reporting combined with the hands-on experience of farm work across various agricultural settings. Accommodation is provided at your assigned farm location, ensuring you have a comfortable base while contributing to vital farming activities. We offer weekly payouts, providing financial stability and reward for your hard work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general farm duties including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- Care for livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring animal health and welfare.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with irrigation, fencing, and general upkeep of farm infrastructure.
- Monitor crop and animal health, reporting any issues to the remote farm supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of daily tasks, supplies, and farm observations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and farm protocols.
- Communicate regularly with the remote management team through digital platforms.
