Job Description

Aura Aesthetics & Wellness is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Laser Hair Removal Assistant (Trainee) to join our growing team in Uptown Saint John. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for an individual with no prior experience in laser treatments, offering comprehensive on-the-job training to become a skilled professional in laser hair removal and other aesthetic procedures. You will work closely with our experienced clinicians, learning the nuances of client care, treatment protocols, and equipment operation, all while contributing to a positive and supportive clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead laser technicians with pre-treatment consultations and client preparation.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization protocols are met.
- Provide exceptional client support and comfort during laser hair removal sessions.
- Accurately document client information, treatment parameters, and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations and clinic policies.
- Manage laundry, stock supplies, and contribute to general clinic tidiness.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
- Learn and understand the various laser technologies and their applications.
