Job Description
Are you detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring a seamless online customer experience? GoDaddy is seeking an Online Order Flow Tester to join our dynamic e-commerce team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously testing our online ordering systems, identifying potential issues, and ensuring that every customer interaction, from browsing to checkout, is flawless. Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for all aspects of the online order flow, including product selection, cart functionality, payment gateways, and order confirmation.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, glitches, and usability issues using our internal bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to understand requirements and provide actionable feedback on user experience and functionality.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases and user stories.
- Stay informed about industry best practices in e-commerce and quality assurance.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to report on progress and discuss challenges.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and the online purchasing process.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report issues and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as a productive member of a team.
- Proficiency with common web browsers and mobile operating systems for testing across different environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (even informal) in a quality assurance or testing role.
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Bugzilla).
- Basic knowledge of different payment methods and their online integration.
- A keen interest in website usability and user experience design.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
