Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Part-time Junior Copywriter to join our remote content team. This role is perfect for someone starting their career in content creation, eager to learn, and passionate about crafting engaging, SEO-optimized content. You will play a crucial role in developing written materials that support our marketing efforts, improve our online visibility, and communicate our brand’s unique value proposition. Key Responsibilities

  • Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for various digital platforms, including website pages, blog posts, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to all content to improve search engine rankings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and SEO teams to understand content requirements and campaign objectives.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of content calendars and content strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new content opportunities.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and campaigns.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword research.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • A portfolio or writing samples (even from personal projects or academic work) demonstrating writing ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Prior experience with content creation tools or platforms.
