Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
- Verify the quantity, quality, and condition of goods upon arrival, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Unload deliveries safely and efficiently, using appropriate equipment if necessary.
- Organize and move received goods to designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., purchasing, sales) to resolve any delivery-related issues.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation, including delivery notes and packing slips.
- Ensure the receiving area is kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., data entry, email).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 15-20kg (within health and safety guidelines).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or administrative role (even entry-level).
