Job Description
Join Microsoft’s dynamic team as an Evening Game Support Specialist and provide exceptional assistance to our global gaming community. This is a fully remote, entry-level position perfect for individuals passionate about gaming and dedicated to customer satisfaction. You will be the first point of contact for players, helping them resolve technical issues, account inquiries, and general gameplay questions during evening hours, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional and friendly support to gamers via chat, email, and occasionally phone.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to game access, installation, and performance.
- Assist with account management, billing inquiries, and password resets.
- Escalate complex issues to senior support or relevant internal teams as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions using internal tools.
- Stay up-to-date with new game releases, updates, and platform features.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Passion for video games and familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, console).
- Basic technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience (even non-gaming related).
- Familiarity with Microsoft products and services, especially Xbox.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
