Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Midstream Associate to join our Distribution team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to begin a career in the dynamic energy sector. The successful candidate will support our midstream operations with a specific focus on the distribution of natural gas and other refined products. You will learn foundational aspects of pipeline operations, logistics, and regulatory compliance, contributing to the efficient and safe delivery of energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data collection and analysis related to pipeline throughput, inventory levels, and distribution schedules.
  • Support the monitoring of operational performance metrics for midstream distribution assets.
  • Collaborate with senior associates to prepare reports on operational efficiency, safety compliance, and regulatory adherence.
  • Participate in incident response planning and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Conduct basic research on market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements impacting midstream distribution.
  • Aid in the coordination of maintenance activities and logistics for distribution infrastructure.
  • Learn and apply company safety policies and procedures in all aspects of work.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Basic understanding of logistical processes.

  • Prior internship experience in the energy, logistics, or operations sectors.
