Job Description
We are seeking a talented and highly analytical SEO Copywriter with a proven track record in high CTR (Click-Through Rate) writing to join our remote content team. While the role is titled ‘Netflix SEO Copywriter,’ your expertise will be applied across our diverse portfolio of streaming content and digital platforms, aiming to maximize organic visibility and audience engagement. You will be responsible for crafting compelling, SEO-optimized copy for titles, descriptions, metadata, and promotional materials that not only rank high in search results but also captivate users and drive clicks. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO content strategies for various streaming titles and related digital assets.
- Write captivating, keyword-rich titles, descriptions, and metadata for new and existing content designed to maximize CTR.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and SEO specialists to ensure content aligns with brand voice and SEO best practices.
- Monitor and analyze content performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices in the entertainment sector.
- Optimize existing content to improve search rankings and user engagement.
- Create compelling calls-to-action that encourage discovery and consumption of content.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in SEO copywriting with a strong portfolio showcasing high CTR results.
- Demonstrable expertise in keyword research tools and SEO analytics platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to write engaging, concise, and persuasive copy under tight deadlines.
- Deep understanding of SEO principles, ranking factors, and algorithm updates.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Experience in the entertainment, media, or streaming industry.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies for content optimization.
