Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Pinterest Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in leveraging Pinterest data to uncover actionable insights, drive strategic recommendations, and optimize client performance on the platform. You will work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and campaign effectiveness, transforming raw data into compelling narratives that inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Pinterest’s ecosystem, strong analytical skills, and a passion for turning data into growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of Pinterest campaign performance, audience demographics, and content trends to identify key insights and opportunities.
- Develop and present strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders based on data analysis, aimed at improving Pinterest marketing effectiveness.
- Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends on Pinterest to provide strategic foresight and identify emerging best practices.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards that visualize key metrics and communicate performance trends clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to inform Pinterest content strategy, ad targeting, and overall platform engagement.
- Utilize analytics tools and methodologies to extract, clean, and interpret large datasets from Pinterest and related platforms.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss performance, insights, and future strategies.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a similar role, with a focus on social media platforms.
- Proven expertise in Pinterest analytics, including Pinterest Ads Manager, Pinterest Trends, and other related tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with other social media analytics platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Experience in a consulting or agency environment.
- Knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages.
