Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Cheese Wrapping Operative to join our production team in Chateauguay. This full-time position involves operating modern cheese wrapping machinery in a clean, temperature-controlled environment during day shifts. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our premium cheese products are perfectly packaged, meet all quality standards, and are ready for distribution. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor cheese wrapping and packaging machinery efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all wrapped products meet Agropur’s stringent quality, weight, and packaging standards.
- Perform routine quality checks on finished products, including label placement and package integrity.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area in compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP).
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Load packaging materials into machines and assist with minor adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, quality deviations, or safety concerns promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
