Job Description

Are you passionate about the world of entertainment and eager to kickstart your career in casting and talent management? Bell Media is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Casting & Talent Management Intern to join our vibrant team in Mississauga, Ontario. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced media industry, working alongside seasoned professionals to discover, develop, and manage talent for our diverse range of productions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the casting team with talent searches, auditions, and callback sessions.
  • Maintain and update talent databases, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  • Support talent managers in coordinating schedules, travel, and logistics for artists.
  • Conduct research on emerging talent, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare casting breakdowns, call sheets, and other production-related documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the casting and talent management department.

Required Skills

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A genuine interest in the entertainment industry, particularly in casting and talent development.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Film, Television, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with database management or CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and digital talent discovery tools.
