Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI / CT Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team on the Gold Coast, Queensland. This is an exceptional opportunity for an internationally qualified technologist looking to relocate to Australia, as visa sponsorship is provided. You will operate advanced MRI and CT equipment, performing a wide range of diagnostic procedures with precision and care. The successful candidate will be patient-focused, possess excellent technical skills, and be eager to contribute to a leading healthcare network.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI and CT examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with report generation.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous professional development.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding radiation safety and patient care.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in operating MRI and CT scanners (e.g., Siemens, GE, Philips).
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA (Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia).
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-graduate qualification in MRI or CT.
- Experience with advanced imaging techniques (e.g., cardiac MRI, CT angiography).
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment.
