Job Description

Marston Recovery is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Trainee Bailiffs in Falmouth, Cornwall. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in enforcement, offering comprehensive training and support to become a fully qualified Certificated Enforcement Agent. You will play a crucial role in the ethical and effective recovery of debts, working within strict legal guidelines to enforce court orders and warrants. Key Responsibilities

  • Undergo comprehensive training to understand and apply legal frameworks related to enforcement.
  • Learn to accurately interpret and execute warrants and court orders.
  • Communicate professionally and empathetically with debtors to explain the enforcement process and seek resolution.
  • Attempt to recover outstanding debts and collect payments in accordance with legal and company guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all enforcement activities and interactions.
  • Adhere strictly to industry regulations, company policies, and the National Standards for Enforcement Agents.
  • Manage difficult situations with professionalism, de-escalation techniques, and a focus on peaceful resolution.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and senior enforcement agents.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Strong ethical compass and commitment to fair practice.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Basic IT literacy (for record-keeping).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Experience in roles requiring negotiation or conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of local geography in Cornwall.
  • A clean criminal record check (DBS).
