Job Description
Are you passionate about hair and eager to specialize in Afro hair care, braiding, and styling? Divine Hair Salon is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Afro Hair Specialist Trainee to join our dynamic team in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. This is an unparalleled opportunity for individuals with little to no prior experience in Afro hair, but with a strong desire to learn and master the art of Afro hair care. You will receive comprehensive, hands-on training from our senior stylists, covering everything from fundamental techniques to advanced styling and client consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists with client consultations and service preparation.
- Learn and practice various Afro hair care techniques, including washing, conditioning, and treatments.
- Master a range of braiding styles (e.g., cornrows, box braids, knotless braids) and protective styling methods.
- Develop skills in natural hair styling, twists, loc maintenance, and extensions application.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon work areas and tools.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience for all clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and participate in ongoing training sessions.
