Job Description
Are you passionate about luxury cars and providing impeccable service? Mercedes-Benz of Dundee is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Valet & Porter to join our high-performing team. This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the world’s most desirable vehicles and contribute to an outstanding customer experience. We offer a top daily rate for individuals who are reliable, professional, and possess a keen eye for detail. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our showroom and service centre, directly impacting our clients’ perception of our brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move customer and showroom vehicles to designated areas.
- Perform vehicle inspections for new arrivals and departures, noting any damage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of showroom vehicles and the surrounding premises.
- Assist service advisors and sales executives with vehicle preparation for customer collection and test drives.
- Manage vehicle key systems securely and accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients with their needs upon arrival and departure.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Support general dealership operations as required.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean record.
- Proven ability to drive a variety of vehicle types, including automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to vehicle care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional and polished demeanour.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a valet, porter, or similar role within the automotive or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle brands and models.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge (e.g., tire pressure, fluid checks).
