Job Description
Are you handy with tools and looking for flexible, local work with immediate payment? Mr. Handyman of Ottawa West is seeking a dedicated IKEA Dresser Assembler to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, have experience with furniture assembly, and are looking for consistent contract work. You will be responsible for travelling to client homes within Kanata and surrounding areas to efficiently and accurately assemble various IKEA dresser models, ensuring customer satisfaction with every job. This is a contract position with the benefit of cash payment on a weekly basis, providing great flexibility and immediate earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to client locations within the Kanata and Ottawa West area.
- Efficiently and accurately assemble IKEA dresser units according to manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure all parts are correctly installed and the finished product is stable and safe.
- Communicate professionally with clients, confirming appointments and addressing any questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at client sites.
- Manage your own tools and equipment required for assembly.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices during assembly.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction with the completed assembly.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with furniture assembly, particularly IKEA products.
- Proficiency with various hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
