Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Reach Truck Specialist for our night shift operations in Grove City, OH. As a Reach Truck Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our fulfillment center by safely operating reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve products and materials. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. A generous sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently to move products, equipment, and materials.
- Load, unload, pick, and put away inventory items according to established procedures.
- Perform daily equipment checks and minor maintenance on reach trucks to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of product movement.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or damaged products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet operational goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a reach truck.
- Proven ability to operate powered industrial trucks safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to lift and move up to 49 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to work the night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a large-scale fulfillment or distribution center.
- Certification in operating multiple types of powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklift, order picker).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
