Job Description

Rush Hair is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salon Assistant to join our vibrant team in Manchester City Centre. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to learn the ropes of professional hairdressing, support our stylists, and ensure our clients receive a five-star experience from the moment they walk through our doors. You will be an integral part of our salon’s daily operations, contributing to a welcoming and efficient atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and offer refreshments.
- Assist senior stylists with preparing clients for services, including shampooing, conditioning, and applying treatments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the salon, including sweeping hair, sanitizing stations, and laundry duties.
- Prepare styling tools and equipment for stylists and ensure they are properly cleaned and stored.
- Help with reception duties, such as answering phones and booking appointments, as needed.
- Support inventory management by restocking products and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Observe and learn from experienced stylists and colourists to develop your hairdressing knowledge and skills.
