Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Property Maintenance Assistant (Handyman/Mate) to join our property management team in Kensington, London. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in property maintenance. You will work alongside experienced technicians, learning various aspects of property upkeep, repairs, and preventative maintenance. If you have a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, and a basic understanding of tools, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior maintenance staff with various repair and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties.
- Perform basic repairs such as patching walls, painting, minor plumbing fixes (e.g., leaky faucets), and light electrical tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs).
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
- Support in carrying out preventative maintenance schedules, including checking and cleaning communal areas.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as required for maintenance projects.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Respond to tenant and client maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with groundskeeping tasks, including light landscaping and litter removal.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
