Job Description

Concentrix is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Home Advisor Trainees. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain valuable experience in customer service, with comprehensive training provided. You will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing an exceptional service experience. No prior experience is required – we’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Halifax, Nova Scotia, provided you have a stable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete paid training to understand client products, services, and customer interaction protocols.
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a professional and efficient manner.
- Provide accurate information and solutions to customer questions and concerns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, escalating complex problems to senior support when necessary.
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the system.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through empathetic and effective communication.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and data security.
- Continuously improve product knowledge and customer service skills through ongoing training and feedback.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong active listening skills and a patient demeanor.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously.
- Access to a quiet, distraction-free home workspace.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum specified by Concentrix).
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality).
- Familiarity with CRM software or ticketing systems.
- Ability to speak additional languages.
