Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sign Printing Shop Helper. This is an entry-level position and comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate. You will be instrumental in the production process, focusing primarily on cutting and weeding vinyl for various sign projects. Key Responsibilities
- Operate vinyl cutters and plotters under supervision.
- Carefully weed excess vinyl from cut designs, ensuring clean lines and accurate details.
- Prepare vinyl for application by laminating or masking.
- Assist with the preparation of various sign materials, including cleaning and cutting substrates.
- Support senior technicians with sign assembly and installation tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform general shop duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) is a plus, but not required.
- Previous experience with hand tools or power tools.
