Job Description
Are you looking to embark on a fulfilling career in healthcare? LloydsPharmacy in Shawlands, Glasgow is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our professional team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, assisting pharmacists and providing essential support to our customers. We are committed to developing our team members and offer comprehensive training for a professional start in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in dispensing prescription medicines accurately and efficiently.
- Manage stock control, including receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering queries and advising on over-the-counter products.
- Process sales transactions using the till system.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional pharmacy environment.
- Support with administrative tasks and record-keeping.
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
