Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Direct Agricultural Workers to join our operations in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This full-time position offers verified stable shifts, providing consistent work hours in a dynamic outdoor environment. You will be an integral part of our agricultural team, contributing directly to the foundational stages of our sustainable food production processes. Ideal candidates are physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various field tasks including soil preparation, planting, cultivating, and harvesting of crops.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with irrigation systems setup, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Conduct general farm maintenance, including fencing, infrastructure repair, and grounds keeping.
- Monitor crop health, identify issues, and report findings to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and products.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
