Job Description
Are you a compassionate and empathetic individual looking to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life? Home Instead in Bolton is seeking dedicated Caregivers / Companions to provide invaluable support to our clients. No prior certification or experience is required to start, as we provide comprehensive, paid training. This role offers flexible hours, allowing you to fit your work around your life while making a real impact on our community members.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage in stimulating activities with clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Help with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming (after full training).
- Administer medication reminders as needed.
- Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and appointments.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity at home.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.

- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to show empathy, patience, and compassion.
- Willingness to learn and commit to our comprehensive training program.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Previous experience in a care setting (personal or professional) is a plus, but not essential.
- Local to the Bolton area with good knowledge of the community.
