Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Mobile App Developer with expertise in iOS and Swift to join our innovative team in Aberdeen. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Swift code for iOS applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management, UI/UX designers, backend developers) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatisation.
- Stay up-to-date with new mobile technologies and development trends.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Swift and Cocoa Touch.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools like Instruments.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and App Store submission process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of other mobile development frameworks or languages (e.g., Kotlin, Android SDK) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Portfolio of published iOS applications on the App Store.
