Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Click-Laminate Flooring Assistant to join our team in Glendale, CA. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our flooring specialists and installation professionals, ensuring smooth project execution and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist flooring specialists with product selection and material preparation.
  • Organize and prepare tools, materials, and equipment for flooring installations.
  • Help with the staging and layout of click-laminate flooring panels.
  • Provide support during the installation process, including cutting and fitting materials.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all job sites or in the store.
  • Transport materials and equipment as needed, following safety protocols.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, answering basic questions or directing them to specialists.
  • Learn and adhere to all safety guidelines and installation best practices.
  • Perform inventory checks and assist with stocking and organizing flooring materials.

Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
  • Basic understanding of measurements and angles is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation to the job site/store.
  • Comfortable working with various hand and power tools (training provided).
  • Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Prior experience with home improvement projects or construction.
  • Familiarity with click-laminate flooring products or installation techniques.
